Maintenance & Support

Launch day isn't the finish line. Someone still has to keep it running.

End-to-end maintenance for websites and apps — security updates, monitoring, backups, and bug fixes, handled by the team that actually understands the codebase.

What's included

Maintenance that's actually end-to-end, not just "we'll answer emails"

A lot of "maintenance" is really just a support inbox that gets checked occasionally. Ours covers the full lifecycle — the security patches you don't think about until something breaks, the backups you hope you never need, and the small bug fixes that pile up if nobody owns them.

  • WordPress core, theme, and plugin updates
  • Security monitoring and vulnerability patching
  • Automated backups, with tested restore procedures
  • Uptime and performance monitoring, with alerts
  • Bug fixes and small feature changes within scope
  • Mobile app updates for OS compatibility and store policy changes
  • Monthly reporting on what was done and what's coming up

How it works

A plan built around your site, not a generic checklist

Audit

We review the current state of your site or app — versions, plugins, known issues — before proposing a plan.

Baseline

Backups, monitoring, and security fixes get set up first, so nothing's exposed while we plan ahead.

Maintain

Ongoing updates, monitoring, and fixes run on a predictable schedule, not just when something breaks.

Report

A monthly summary of what changed, what was caught, and what needs attention next.

Why teams choose GoWOW for this

We maintain our own products, too

NumerologyGenie and Zero Debt run on the same discipline — monitoring, backups, and updates — we'd apply to your site.

Fixes from people who understand the code

If we built it, maintenance is faster and more accurate. If we didn't, we start with a proper audit before touching anything.

Web and mobile, one plan

If you have both a website and an app, one maintenance plan can cover the full stack instead of two separate contracts.

Common questions

Maintenance & support, answered honestly

Do you offer maintenance for sites you didn't build?

Yes — we'll start with an audit to understand the codebase before taking on ongoing maintenance, since jumping in blind on unfamiliar code is how small issues turn into big ones.

What's the difference between maintenance and a support retainer?

Maintenance is the proactive side — updates, monitoring, backups. A support retainer typically also includes a bank of hours for new feature work. We can structure either, or both together.

How fast do you respond to something urgent, like a site going down?

Response time depends on the plan — we'll agree on a specific SLA for urgent issues as part of scoping, rather than leaving it vague.

Can maintenance be added later if we just need the build right now?

Yes — plenty of clients start with just the build and add a maintenance plan once the site or app is live.

Already live and need someone to own the upkeep?

Tell us what you're running — we'll put together a maintenance plan that actually fits it.
